Hi! I`m Laura 

And welcome to my blog.

Let me quickly introduce myself. I‘m Laura, the culinary artist behind NIEMI and a professional pastry chef. I‘m originally half Finnish and half German and settled in Zürich Switzerland for the past almost 10 years. 

Why Switzerland? Because I love living in the country with the best chocolate ;) 

I have the biggest passion for patisserie and baking. Ever since I was in my early years baking has always fascinated me and become such a passion of mine that I decided to turn it into my career. 

Baking and recipe creating has always intrigued me. I love to experiment with new ideas, recipes and new techniques and I always keep learning and trying new things.

I‘ve been blogging for a few years and I love sharing my recipes, insights and creativity through this blog with everyone. 

I started food photography just a few years back and I love the creativity it gives me trying to catch the flavor, texture and essence of my recipe through a single frame.
